Neptune Flags Winter Quilt
The Winter quilt is part of our latest collaboration with Neptune. Working with past-season textile flags from the Neptune Fulham store, we have created four distinct collections that reflect the seasons.
This quilt is made from checked cream wool, navy and chocolate velvet, natural linen and printed natural linen. The colours are inspired by cosy winter evenings and bright mornings walking amongst trees so bare they have become sculptural.
This is a one-off piece made by hand in our South London Studio. The quilt has been hand-quilted with wool wadding in the centre and natural linen on the reverse, highlighting the carefully drawn lines of stitching.
Inspired by the Neptune founders’ (and Georgia’s) love of sailing, the drawings for this design were inspired by spinnakers and sails.
